Meet Dr. Maggie Bills

Dr. Maggie Bills, (formerly Dr. Maggie Anderson), grew up in Toledo, Ohio as the second oldest of six siblings. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Pre-professional studies from the University of Notre Dame before completing seven years of graduate training at the University of Michigan. There, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree, followed by a Master of Science (MS) and certification as a specialist in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. During her graduate studies, she also completed and defended a thesis, investigating the potential of specialized stem cells to regenerate alveolar bone.

Before joining Nolan and Guest Orthodontics in 2021, Dr. Bills practiced in Minneapolis, Minnesota for two years. She became a partner in the practice with Dr. Guest in 2024. She also serves as a part-time instructor in the Graduate Orthodontics Department at the University of Michigan, where she enjoys mentoring students and sharing her passion for orthodontics and education.

Dr. Bills loves being an orthodontic specialist because it allows her to combine her attention to detail and eye for esthetics to create beautiful, confident smiles through thoughtful planning and precise care. She values building lasting relationships with patients and families throughout their treatment journeys.

Outside the office, Dr. Bills enjoys spending time with her family and her English labrador, Henry. She loves fitness classes, pickleball, cooking and trying new restaurants, and is an avid Michigan football fan. Her husband, Jon – also a University of Michigan alumnus – was a member of the Michigan football team.
